Sapphographs

Donovan's Sapphographs are a tribute to ancient Greece poet Sappho: a series of high-contrast photographs xeroxed over and over on watercolour paper. The pictures depict principally Donovan's daughter, Oriole Nebula Leitch, and a friend of her, although his wife Linda and his daughter Astrella appear in some of them.

· Greece: a tour of Donovan's Sapphographs is scheduled for the summer of 2010.
