February-April, 1968

On January 16th, 1968, Donovan arrived in Delhi, India, to study meditation. Other artists were there too, such as The Beatles, Mia Farrow, Mike Love (of the Beach Boys) or Paul Horn. Donovan's old friend Gypsy Dave also joined the gang. In the next months The Beatles and Donovan would share their musical knowledge influencing each other music styles and changing what was a big era in the history of music. These mutual influences can be heard in Donovan's The Hurdy Gurdy Man and in The Beatles White Album.
