Trivia:

· Universal Soldier is a very special release. It collected the entire Universal Soldier EP, the b-side to Catch The Wind, and the entire Turquoise single, none of them had appeared on LP format in the UK. That's the reason why this compilation was so well-received.

· There are some songs titles printed in the front cover: Colours, Catch The Wind, Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness), Ballad Of A Crystal Man and The War Drags On.

· On the back cover, there are notes by an unkown autor about Donovan's life and the songs included in this compilation.

· Ballad Of A Crystal Man is listed as The Ballad Of A Crystal Man.
