Donovan to headline benefit concert for DLF(20/02/2010)

A new concert has been anounced for March 19th, at the El Rey Theatre, Los Angeles. Donovan will participate in a benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation, joined by his daughter Astrella Celeste and the Conan O'Brien Late Night band (Jerry Vivino, Scott Healy and Mike Merritt). Donovan's performance is scheduled for 10:00 PM, but he will be preceded by a large group of artists and musicians: Jack Maness (Sublime), Z (The Like), The Global Sound Lodge (featuring Lanny Cordola and Matt Sorum), Amrita Sen, Danny Saber (from Black Grape, Alice Cooper and Agent Provocateur) and others. The evening will be hosted by Mathew Saint Patrick, from Six Feet Under. The schedule goes as follows:

· 07:30 pm: doors open.

· 08:30 pm: Every Boy:

Bruce Nathan (voice and guitar)

Billy Masters (guitar, from Suzanne Vega's band)

Adam Topal (drums, from Jack Johnson's band)

Chris Joyner (keyboards, from Sheryl Crow's band and The Wallflowers)

Jeff McElroy (bass)

· 09:00 pm: Blessed The Strange.

· 09:35 pm: Jack Maness backed musically by Rickshaw.

· 10:00 pm: Donovan and Friends.

· 11:30 pm: The Paris Escovedo Project.
